Your favorite song can change your mood to pep you up. I usually listen to FM radio on my way to & from office like many others. Unfortunately these FM stations always repeatedly play the latest tracks. So i keep switching between different channels to check if any of these are playing any of my favorites. It often gets difficult and by the time you reach the right channel playing your song, the song is almost over.
So here is an idea - How about a console which helps you tag your songs (while they are being played) as your favorites, by a click of a button. Now the system has a list of such songs. Now whenever a channel plays any of these songs, the system automatically tunes on to this channel. The ordering and priorities etc for the songs can be handled through some complex algorithms. But the basic concept is that the system helps you reach the right channel playing the right song for you.
I have even thought of its 2nd version :-) You may not even have to identify your favorite songs. The system will do it for you basis historical data. Its simple... any complete song that you have heard multiple times will be classified as favorites. And any song, that you stop/switch while it is being played, will be flushed out of the list. Cool! Isn't it?
