When i started preparing for the PMP eaxm, i couldn't find anybody who could guide me. Being from a mid sized organization where emphasis is not on certifications, but on delivery, it became all the more difficult for me. I knew that having a certification that is widely respected and accepted in the industry will definitely give my profile the much needed glitter and help me get conversant with the best industry practices, which inturn will provide me with the opportunity to serve my present company better.

Books to read
- PMBOK - The official PMI guide for PMP examination. Make sure that this is read and understood atleast thrice.
- RMC (Rita Mulcahy's) - Once the PMBOK is read twice and understood, read the RMC book and take tests.

- RMC questions for each chapter
- pmpbest @ yahoo group - They have come up with a website as well - pmpbest, but i would still prefer the group.
